A Peer Advocate is a volunteer senior interested in helping other seniors.

What do Peer Advocates do?

  • Peer Advocates provide to other seniors information about available services and resources

  • Peer Advocates use their own lifetime experiences as well as information from the Seniors Resource Centre

  • Peer Advocates may assist seniors to obtain needed services

  • Peer Advocates may advocate on behalf of individual seniors

  • Peer Advocates may advocate to obtain needed services and programs

Why is the program needed?
